National Competitiveness Forum Suriname

On Thursday 7 - And Fridays 8 February 2013, was in the KKF-building Kernkampweg the 1st National Competitiveness Forum held Suriname. The Forum was opened by the Vice President of the Republic of Suriname. During this two-day forum are through lectures, sessions and panel discussions laid the foundation for an integrated policy for Competitiveness Program of Suriname and practical approach to development.

The Forum was organized by the "Competitiveness Unit Suriname" appointed by the government with the mandate to coordinate all activities which serve to strengthen competitiveness, the business environment and raise awareness about our competitive ability enlarge. On day 2 of the forum was the focus on 4 workgroups / Panels tw : werkgroep Acces to Finance, werkgroep Education & Innovation, Working Group on Decentralization and Public Private Partnerships Working Group.
