As a follow up of the First National Competitiveness Forum Suriname There are now four working groups formed. These are: Public Private Partnership; Education and Innovation; Access to Finance; Decentralization of Economic Development. This will be the period 11 March 2013 up to and including 21 april 2013 practical preparation executable action plans.

These action plans will have to contribute to sustainable improvement of national competitiveness (national competitiveness) van ons land. It will hereby be worked with o.a. Compete Caribbean en Caribbean Growth Forum.

De officiele launch van het Caribbean Growth Forum (CGF) in Suriname will 18 March a.s. place by the Competitive Unit Suriname.

The Caribbean Growth Forum is an initiative of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), Compete Caribbean Program, World Bank en Caribbean Development Bank (COB) in samenwerking met United Kingdom Agency for International Development (DFID) en Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA).

The purpose of the CGF is to identify problems that interfere rings ensure the development and growth of the private sector and workable solutions to identify for the development and growth of the private sector development and growth.
